What printer cartridges does the Hewlett Packard Envy 5010 All in One use?
 
The HP Envy 5020 uses the HP 304 ink cartridges. IJT Directs branded inks come in the high capacity version known as 304XL black & tri colour. The 304 black can print up to 120 pages and the colour is up to 100 pages. From the high capacity 304XL cartridges you’ll be printing up to 300 pages per cartridge. These numbers are based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

The HP Envy 5010 Wireless All in one is best suited to a home user. The printer isdesigned with its easy use speciation offering print, scan and copy. The image resolution on the machine is 1,200x1,200 dpi when printing from a PC making it capable of completing your home printing needs.
 
Our thoughts on Design
 
The Envy 5010 all in one printer is a bit larger than most inkjet printers of this class with dimensions of 445x564x128mm and weighs 5.41kg. Available in black and with a flatbed scanner. The front loading paper tray can hold up to 100 sheets of A4 copier paper at a time.
 
Main Printer Advantages
 
The HP 5010 has a great range of connectivity options including USB, WIFI Direct and WIFI which enables you to print through HP ePrint, Apple Air Print and more.  This printer offers automatic duplex printing meaning you can be even more environmentally friendly with less paper usage and it won’t be time consuming as the printer can do this automatically.
 
Main Printer Disadvantages
 
The Envy 5010 printer does not have an automatic document feeder. It also could be a bit faster with print speeds of up to 10 pages per minute monochrome and 7 pages per minute for coloured copies. This printer only supports media weight of 64-90 gsm so you couldn’t print of thick card or photo paper.
 
Running costs - Are the inks good value for money?
 
We think the HP Envy 5010 All-in-One could have better running costs. As this machine uses a 2 ink system they tend to be more expensive to run, especially with the tri colour cartridge as if you run out of a colour you need to replace the whole cartridge.
