What printer cartridges does the Epson WorkForce WF-3620DWF use?

The Epson WorkForce WF-3620DWF uses a 4 ink system of Epson 27 inks which comprise of Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow cartridges. The Epson retail packing has an image of a clock on the front. These inks come in both standard and high capacity cartridges with our IJT branded inks available in the high capacity. The standard inks can print up to 300 pages from each of the colours and 350 pages from the black cartridge whereas the high capacity 27XL inks can print up to 1100 pages each cartridge. This is based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

Our thoughts on Design

The Epson WF3620 has been finished in black and looks easy on the eye. Its dimensions are 450 x 559 x 244mm so fairly large for an inkjet printer which makes it a good option for a small office. On the top of the machine is a flatbed scanner and a 30 sheet ADF (automatic document feeder). The control panel is at an angle at the front of the machine with a small screen and a few buttons.

Main Printer Advantages

One admirable feature of the Epson WF3620 is its 250 sheet paper tray; most inkjets can only hold 100 sheets at a time. It’s extremely user friendly, very easy to set up; also using the Epson apps makes mobile printing even easier.  The 4 in 1 Epson WF 3620 also supports SD and SDHC memory cards, compact flash and USB memory stick printing.

Main Printer Disadvantages

Although this printer has excellent features it is very heavy; coming in at almost 10kgs. You also cannot increase the paper input as its limited to one tray.

Running costs - Are the inks good value for money?

Yes we think the Epson WorkForce WF3620DWF printer has great running costs, especially when using our IJT branded inks.
