What printer cartridges does the Brother DCP-9015CDW use?

The Brother DCP 9015 CDW uses four individual IJT Direct branded toner cartridges, comprising of black, cyan, magenta and yellow. There are two capacities known as TN241 and TN245.  The TN241 covers all four cartridges in the standard capacity and this range offers up to 2,500 copies from black and 1,400 from each colour. IJT Direct also offers the high capacity TN245 colour toner cartridges; on these you can get up to 2,400 pages from each colour cartridge. This is based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

Our thoughts on Design

We think the Brother 9015 CDW all in one wireless colour laser printer looks great it’s finished in white and grey. Laser printers can be quite bulky, but this one is a smaller sized laser printer coming in at only 410(W) x 483(D) x 410(H) mm and weighs 23.2kg. This model can hold up to 250 sheets of plain paper in the front loading paper tray; it also has a single sheet rear manual feed slot for thicker paper.  It features a handy easy to use 9.3cm colour touch screen on the front of the printer; also this model has a flatbed scanner.

Main Printer Advantages

The functional MFC 9015CDW offers print, scan, copy up to A4 size. Being a laser printer you will get great printing speeds from this machine; A4 standard print speed is up to 18 pages per minute. Don’t forget you can do 2 sided printing on this machine to save paper; this only takes approximately 7 seconds per side.  You can connect to this printer using multiple devices as it offers many connectivity options including WIFI, USB, WIFI Direct, Brother iPrint&Scan app, Apple Air Print and Google Cloud Print.

Main Printer Disadvantages

The Brother-9015CDW can be limiting as the built in paper tray can only take plain, thin and recycled paper between 60-105gsm. For a heavier paper, glossy or bond paper you would need to use the manual feed slot; this accepts between 60-163gsm. When released this printer had no option for a fax or ADF

Running costs - Are the toners good value for money?
