What printer cartridges does the Epson Workforce WF-7720DTWF use?
The Epson WorkForce WF-7720DTWF takes Epson 27 and 27XL cartridges which have a clock on original Epson retail packaging. The standard (27) and high capacity (27XL) sets comprise of 4 cartridges; Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow, our IJT branded recycled cartridges come in the high capacity. The standard cartridges can print up to 300 pages from each colour cartridge and 350 pages from the black whereas each of the high capacity cartridges can print up to 1100 pages. This is based on 5% coverage on an A4 page.

The Epson WorkForce WF 7720 DTWF is a great A3 multifunction printer which would be suitable for most small offices according to our printer experts. This inkjet has A3 support across all 4 functions and a variety of connectivity options including USB, Network, Wireless, Wi-Fi Direct and NFC. The WF 7720DTWF features dual paper trays and a USB port for printing or scanning directly to thumb drives this printer has endless desirable features.
Our thoughts on Design
The WF7720DTWF is available in black and has two 250 sheet capacity paper trays with a single sheet override tray for paper handling. The A3 scanner also has a 35 sheet automatic document feeder which makes long multi-page scanning jobs effortless. For printer management there is a 10.9cm touch screen interface on a tilted front panel along with a set of control buttons.
Main Printer Advantages
The WF-7720DTWF has many selling points but the most notable is the print quality, thanks to the Epson precision core print head technology the prints are of laser quality at resolutions up to 4800dpi x 2400dpi across all media sizes. As well as the integrated ADF this printer can automatically duplex print, two essential features for a business printer, these features combined with the easy to use control panel and large touch screen make the Workforce Epson WF7720 a stand out printer.
Main Printer Disadvantages
The main drawback to the WF-7720DTWF is the size which is what makes it unsuitable for most home environments. %he printer dimensions are 567mmx452mmx418mm (WxDxH) with a weight of 22.2kg, this is not a printer you could share a desk with. Another disadvantage is the print speeds which in reality are a lot slower than the manufacturer’s estimated speeds; other comparable printers are a lot faster.
Running costs - Are the inks good value for money?
We think the Workforce WF 7720DTWF has great running costs. The individual high capacity colour inks make printing more efficient keeping costs down even with high printer usage.
