Using OSRAM's extensive knowledge around UV light the AirZing Mini draws in air and passes it over a Titanium Dioxide plate that combines with UV-A light to produce a photonic-catalytic reaction. This reaction removes harmful bacteria and viruses from the air. The purification process can also eliminate odors and bad smells leaving drivers with clean fresh air.
The Titanium Dioxide plate can be taken out and washed and then replaced for low level maintenance and no need to continually buy and replace filters.
Designed specifically for use within a vehicle the AirZing Mini comes with magnetic vent clips for flexible mounting positions. The USB-C supplied power cable power supply secure fitment whilst driving.

How does it work and where would you use it?
The AirZing Mini is designed by OSRAM to be put in your car, van or lorry to clean the air in the cabin. It works by being mounted in front of an air vent and using a small internal fan, draws the air through the device over the titanium dioxide filter plate and then pushes out the clean filtered air. To get more scientific, the air that is pulled through the filter is irradiated by the 11 UV-A LEDs which creates a photonic-catalytic reaction which breaks down any viruses and bacteria in the air.
What’s good about it?

It’s also rechargeable via USB Type C and can be done on the go.
Does it work?
In practice it really does work! We only managed to try it out in the 5 door saloon not a van, but after a short time there was clean smelling air being pumped in to the cabin. There are no claims made by OSRAM about the AirZing Mini killing COVID-19, but it’s comforting to know that if you are sharing your vehicle with someone you usually wouldn’t, having this in-car air purifier going will potentially stop you both from catching anything nasty.
Are there any drawbacks?
Certainly none that we found in the short time we used it. It’s small, doesn’t make loads of noise and doesn’t need replacement filters constantly.
