The Advent AWP10 uses IJT Direct branded ABK10 /  ACLR10 ink cartridges. IJT Direct ink comes in black ABK10 and multicolourACLR10; the black cartridge prints 305 pages, the multicolour cartridge prints 225 pages.

The Advent AWP 10 is a thermal inkjet printer & adds function over form.  This multifunction printer is user-friendly and versatile. It features a 2-ink  cartridge system .This printer model offers a flatbed scanner function & WiFi built in, works on operating systems such as Windows Vista / XP / 7 & MACOSX. This could be ideal; for even the smallest homes school classroom or even when working from the spare bedroom or home office.

The Advent AWP10 is primarily black and block like. A distinctive Kodak/ Advent design style where they are concentrating on a low price point, rather than a higher perception of value through styling. At the end of the day, this is a printer. It needs to print images.

Compact low cost & with a 1200 dpi flatbed scanner built in. Usb high speed & WiFi 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity are a must. 

The design of the AWP10 printer surely won’t win any style prizes, like its predecessor the A10.Painfully slow print & copier speeds of the Advent AWP10. As slow as 6ppm for a black page of text & 4ppm for a colour page (and we're being generous). Real life page heavy content will reduce these speed further.

We think the Kodak Advent AWP10 has high running costs. However, avoid buying the expensive original printer cartridges and opt instead for the IJT Direct own brand value inkjets. By doing that, you make this printer barely affordable to use. You might want to consider buying a new printer that uses individual printer inks to increase value for money.
