Our thoughts on Design

The Brother J480 DW inkjet printer comes in sleek black, has a flatbed scanner, copier & fax. USB Connectivity, duplex double sided printing & wifi make this a very usable printer. Compact in size at only 400(W) x 341(D) x 172(H)mm and only weighing 8.3kg.

Main Printer Advantages

The functional Brother MFC J480 offers a maximum resolution of 1200 dpi when copying at 6images per second. It can comfortably stack upto 99 pages. With a 100 sheet paper input tray, you’re sure to have enough for most print tasks. Print resolution of Up to 6,000 x 1,200 dpi (Vertical x Horizontal) make images very high quality. AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, iPrint&Scan, Mopria, Wi-Fi Direct are great features. As is fast mono printing at upto 27 pages per minute.

Main Printer Disadvantages

The Brother j480dw design can be limiting. Paper handling could be better from this level of inkjet printer - Standard Tray: A4, LTR, EXE, A5, A6, Photo(10x15cm), Index card, Photo-2L, C5 Envelope, Com-10, DL Envelope, Monarch - Plain, Inkjet, Glossy(cast/resin), Recycled.It can only carry 50 plain sheets at a time but does come with an ADF. Print and copy speeds of the Brother MFC J480 in colour is a bit slow at 12 pages per minute.
