What printer ink cartridges does the Canon Pixma MG5751 use?

The Canon Pixma MG5751 uses a 5 ink system IJT Direct branded PGI570 and CLI571 ink cartridges, in both standard and high cap XL. Sets of ink cartridges for the MG5751 include 2 different blacks, cyan, magenta and yellow. The high cap XL cartridge prints up to 500 pages on the smaller black and 895 pages on the larger black and 650 pages on the colours. The standard cap prints up to 300 pages on the small black and 376 pages on the larger black with 345 pages of magenta, 306 pages of cyan and 347 pages of yellow. These numbers are based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

The Canon MG 5751 is identical to the MG 5750 bar the physical colour. It is both form and function so it can easily go in to small homes or offices. This multifunction inkjet printer is so easy to use and very versatile. The 5-ink system, which includes 2 black cartridges, ensures tip top print quality and helps make the printer cheaper to run - only cartridges that run out needs to be replaced. There is no fax function available for this printer.

Our thoughts on Design

The Canon MG5751 is nice to look at and made in white plastic with a sleek design and has a flatbed scanner. Load the paper in its front loading paper tray, which can be closed to save space. The control panel is functional and small, though suited to the overall design, with a coloured touch display. Connectivity via USB and WiFi is provided.

Main Printer Advantages

The extraordinary Canon MG5751 offers a maximum print resolution of 4800dpi. Image reproduction is amazing and documents sharp and clear. With Cloud Link, business or home users can directly scan to and print from the cloud. The Canon MG5751 is also Smartphone and tablet friendly when using the Canon Print app. Wi-Fi direct printing takes away the need for a router to connect to this multifunction printer.

Main Printer Disadvantages

The Canon MG5751 is limited if you wanted to use different types of paper. It also does not have an automatic document feeder (ADF) and the paper tray will only accept 100 plain sheets of A4 paper at a time.

Running costs - Are the inks good value for money?
