What printer cartridges does the Canon Pixma TS8350 use?

The Canon Pixma TS8350 uses IJT Direct branded PGI580 and CLI581 in a 5 ink cartridge system. IJT Direct PGI580XL and CLI581XL inks come in high capacity black and individual cyan, magenta and yellow colour cartridges; the PGI 580 XL black cartridge prints up to 600 pages, the CLI 581 XL black prints up 4590 pages and the CLI 581 XL cyan, magenta and yellow prints up to 830, 747 and 830 pages respectively. These numbers are based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

The Canon TS 8350 provides that premium feel to what is a fairly standard all in one multifunction inkjet printer. Our in-house printer expects think it’s ideal for small offices and some home use. Its user friendly and also benefits from Canons excellent 5 ink system which only requires you to replace the cartridge that runs out. You’ll also be able to print wireless and via USB.

Our thoughts on Design

Coming in a premium sleek black design, the TS 8350 has a large touchscreen display measuring 4.3 inches that doesn’t disappoint when used. There is also a flatbed scanner capable of producing 2400 x 4800 dpi resolution copies. Rear and front fed paper trays for more flexible media handing as well as disc printing.

Main Printer Advantages

The impressive Canon TS 8350 is a versatile printer with a high maximum print resolution of 4800dpi which means fantastic quality photos and text reproduction. The fact that it also supports an additional Photo Blue cartridge as well as the previously mentioned 5 individual cartridges really does help keep costs down. Main Printer Disadvantages

Stylish and practical, the Canon Pixma TS 8350 has many plus points but is let down by a relatively small front cassette that’s only able to hold up to 100 sheets of plan paper and a rear feed capable of holding 20 sheets of photo paper or 100 sheets of plain paper. We’ve also seen faster printers.
