What printer ink does the Epson Expression Home XP322 use?

The Epson XP 322 uses four individual IJT Direct branded ink cartridges, comprising of black, cyan, magenta and yellow. There are two capacities known as 18 and 18XL, the Epson original inks have a picture of a Daisy on the front of the packaging. The Epson 18 black can print up to 175 pages and the colours can do up to 180 pages. Whereas the high capacity 18XL range can print up to 470 pages from black and 450 pages from each colour. This is based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

The Epson XP-322 is a small, space saving, compact printer coming in at just 390x300x145mm and weighing just 4.2kg; it came available in black. The printer has a flatbed scanner on the top and on the front of the printer it has a user friendly 3.7cm display screen. The Epson XP 322 can hold up to 100 sheets of copier paper or 20 sheets of photo paper through its rear paper tray.

Main Printer Advantages

The Epson 322 can produce a 10x15 photo in just 38 seconds. This versatile printer can take a vast amount of paper types including: A4, A5, A6, B5, C6(envelope), DL(envelope), No.10(envelope), Legal Letter, 9x13cm, 10x15cm, 13x18cm, 13x20cm, 20x25cm,100x148mm and 16:9. The XP 322 has many options for connectivity including USB, WIFI, Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.

Main Printer Disadvantages

The XP 322 can be limiting with no auto duplex function meaning to print double sided you would need to manually turn the paper. The print speeds on this printer are a bit slow at just 9 pages per minute monochrome and 4.5 pages per minute colour. This printer also has no fax or automatic document feeder.
