What printer cartridges does the Epson WorkForce WF2660DWF use?

The Epson WorkForce WF2660 uses four individual IJT Direct branded ink cartridges, comprising of black, cyan, magenta and yellow. There are two capacities known as 16 and 16XL, the Epson original inks have a picture of a Pen and Crossword on the front of the packaging. The Epson 16 black can print up to 175 pages and the colours can do up to 165 pages. Whereas the 16XL range can print up to 500 pages from black and 450 pages from each colour. This is based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

The Epson WF 2660DWF was released in black with a versatile compact design coming in at just 425x360x230mm and weighing 6.7.kg. It has a handy 6.8cm screen on the front making it easier to choose the option you require. This printer features a flat bed scanner and also a time saving 30 page automatic document feeder; the front paper tray also takes up to 150 sheets of plain paper.

Main Printer Advantages

The WorkForce WF2660 can produce up to 33 mono prints or 20 coloured prints in just one minute. This great printer can print, scan, copy and fax, it even has an ADF. You can also save money by using the duplex print option which allows you to print on both sides of the page automatically. There are many options for connecting to this printer including USB, WIFI, Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print. The 2660 can take a variety of paper sizes making it versatile for different users.

Main Printer Disadvantages

The Epson 2660 could be limiting in an office environment especially when using the duplex function as it can only print 6.5pages per minute monochrome which is quite slow.

Running costs - Are the inks good value for money?
