What printer cartridges does the Epson WorkForce WF-7110DTW use?

The Epson WorkForce WF-7110DTW uses Epson 27 inks branded with a Clock on the original Epson packaging. Each set comprises of 4 colours; Black, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. There are both standard and high capacities available with our IJT branded recycled inks available in the high capacity. The standard capacity black ink cartridge can print up to 350 pages and each of the colours can print up to 300 pages. In comparison the high capacity 27XL inks cartridges can each print up to 1100 pages. This is based on 5% coverage of an A4 page.

The Epson WF 7110DTW is an excellent business focused A3 printer according to the IJT printer experts. The quality of both graphics and text prints is great thanks to the Epson Precision Core printhead technology making it suitable for use in both home and office environments. As well as USB and wireless connection options the WF7710 DTW is compatible with a range of mobile printing applications including Epson Connect, Apple AirPrint and Google Cloud Print.

Our thoughts on Design

Being an A3 printer the Epson WF 7110 DTW is a lot larger than most multifunction inkjets, the dimensions are 567mmx424mmx304mm (WxDxH), on the front of the black case is a 5.6cm LCD screen and set of control buttons for managing print jobs. For paper handling the WF-7110DTW has 2 front loading paper trays each capable of holding up to 250 sheets of A4 paper as well as other media.

Main Printer Advantages

As mentioned the print quality is the most impressive feature of the WF-7710DTW, it is excellent across all supported media including the larger A3 size, the print resolution can reach up to 4800 x 2400dpi. Despite the print quality the print speeds are not slow; it can produce up to 18 mono prints per minute and up to 10 colour prints. The paper input capacity is another great feature of the WF-7110DTW with a total capacity of 500 sheets the paper will rarely have to be refilled even with high printer usage, finally there is automatic duplex support for both A4 and A3 paper which makes producing double sided prints effortless and saves paper.

Main Printer Disadvantages

The main drawback to the WorkForce WF-7710DTW is the size, due to the A3 support and dual paper trays it is a very large machine. Despite this large size the control panel element of the WF-77101DTW is lacking being just a small non-touch screen display and a messy set of buttons. Finally this is just a standard printer with no other functions found in multifunction printers.

Running costs - Are the inks good value for money?

We think the Epson WorkForce WF-7710DTWF has great running costs. The individual high capacity colour inks make printing more efficient keeping costs down even with high printer usage. You can reduce your running costs further by using our IJT branded recycled inkjets which are great quality and available at low prices compared to original Epson cartridges.
