What printer cartridges does the Hewlett Packard Deskjet 2540 use?

The HP Deskjet 2540 uses HP 301 black and tri-colour ink cartridges; these are available in a standard and high capacity. Our thoughts on Design

The design of the HP Deskjet 2540 is very simple reflect specifications; the ivory white case has a flatbed document and photo scanner on the top with a rear fed 50 sheet input tray out the back and 30 sheet capacity output tray protruding from the front. Both of the paper trays can be retracted which keeps the footprint small when not in use, the dimensions are 425mmx306mmx157mm (WxDxH) with the trays retracted.

Main Printer Advantages

Despite the simplicity of the Deskjet 2540 the prints produced are great quality; it can achieve resolutions up to 4800x1200 dpi when printing which is suitable for both photos and text prints. The HP Deskjet 2540 also has more than adequate connectivity options, as well as standard USB you can connect wirelessly and it supports Apple Airprint which allows printing from compatible mobile devices.
