HP Deskjet 3764 Printer Review

Our expert review of the HP Deskjet 3764printer: ***Stars

Our expert analysis & summary:

The Deskjet 3764 printer is a thermal inkjet printer. It can print, scan & copy. It takes 2 cartridges – one black and one tri-colour. The flashes of red on the outer case are certainly eye catching and different to the current standard options of black or white / grey.  A small footprint and great functionality make this a decent printer.

Our thoughts on Design

The HP Deskjet 3764 is certainly more vibrant in style than most other printer we see. Red flashes, see through sections, digital screens all in a small and attractive package. Good job HP.

Main Printer Advantages

The functional HP Deskjet 3764 is a printer scanner & copier all in one. All are functions that many home offices will find very useful, in this neat little package. With built in wireless capability & USB connection added too.

Main Printer Disadvantages

With the HP Deskjet 3764, you won’t find connectivity ports for storage device nor direct print support. This can feel limiting. We think this unit can feel cheaply made as well.  64mb integrated memory won’t let you queue up too many print jobs for a heavy work schedule.

Running costs - Are the inks good value for money?

We do think this is a fresh offering from HP. But sadly, it’s form over function again. Relatively expensive running costs make this one to avoid, in our opinion. HP OEM cartridges are expensive, and whilst you can save money using IJT Direct for top quality, great value recycled printer cartridges; they too will set you back near £20 per cartridge.
