The Spec:

Not just a standard iPad, the iPad Pro in Silver has a larger 10.5” IPS Retina TruTone Display, a 6 Core processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB worth of storage space with WiFi & Bluetooth connectivity. This beefed up iPad also has a 12MP rear camera capable of 4K video capture and a 7MP FaceTime camera. The piece de resistance, it’s fully compatible with the Apple Pencil.

The Good Bits:

It’s an all-round upgrade on the standard iPad’s, not just on paper but when put to the test. With twice the RAM as previous models it responds faster, has an improved camera that is capable of recording video in 4K and in a world where the consumer is getting used to larger and larger screens, 20% extra makes so much difference. As mentioned above, the Apple Pencil changes the way the iPad Pro can be used. It’s not just a tablet anymore; it’s a real tool of creativity.

The Not So Good Bits:

2 things are always synonyms with Apple products, the price and a lack of memory expansion. They are expensive and unlike its Android powered competitors such as Samsung, they don’t offer a MicroSD card slot to expand the memory anymore than onboard.

The Design:

Yes they are expensive and have some limitations but they are so well made and reliable. The power button and volume buttons are well placed. The Home button provides additional security as well, through fingerprint recognition. Overall the iPad Pro has a real premium feel and is so user friendly.

Suitability:

Creative professionals or students studying creative courses will benefit massively from the larger screen and additional features the iPad Pro offers over the standard iPads.
