What we think of the design:

A chunkier design than perhaps other security cameras available but it does house a motor to move the camera. We aren’t mad about the 2 WiFi antennas either but the unit is almost all white so will blend in to most homes. The sensors and smoke detector are run of the mill as well, no special design.

What’s good about it?

Peace of mind for anyone if you are at home or out and about. It has the ability to watch over your home, deter any home invasions and keep you safe. We are really impressed with this from ENER-J, that all this is included in one kit. Focusing on the camera, it has several really good features. Live video with 2 way audio can be accessed through the app, which is compatible with both Android and iOS devices. Worry not about having to find the optimum position so the camera covers a whole room, the camera can pivot and tilt via the app.

Are there any drawbacks?

Depending on how you view these they could be considered either positives or drawbacks. Both the sensors and the smoke alarm are battery operated so you’ll need to keep a check on the battery life though a low battery warning sound, much like more or less any smoke alarm will alert you to this. The power cable for the camera isn’t massively long so it can be placed anywhere providing it’s in the close vicinity of a mains power socket.

Are there alternative products available?

There are many options available, not to mention those from brands such as Ring, TP-Link, Blink but not many wireless security cameras come with 2 additional sensors and a smoke detector.
