Our Expert review of the Cello C2420G 24” HD Ready Android Smart TV
What we think of the design:
A typical 24 inch TV you’d put in a small room or second bedroom, the Cello C2420G has narrow bezels and a thin profile so it can be easily wall mounted. Relatively small feet are designed not to take up too much space as well and can be easily removed. Aesthetically it won’t set your pulse racing but the rest of the spec we think will.
What’s good about it?
Ignoring the decent HD resolution got a TV this size for a second, there is much more to it. Chief amongst those is its dual voltage capabilities. This simply means it can be used from standard mains 240v or from a 12v power supply. This makes it ideal for using in a caravan, motor home, HGV or even on a boat. Add to that the Cellos comprehensive list of smart TV features including Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, On Demand, access to Google Play store and Google Assistant, short of making you a cuppa and turning itself on there really isn’t much the Cello can’t do!
What’s the picture like?
Impressively sharp for a 24 inch telly. We’ve seen many TV’s this size but none seem to offer as good picture quality. Obviously you won’t find any HDR or 4K support but with reasonable expatiations you won’t be disappointed.
Are there any drawbacks?
Sound quality is a bit weak, most likely really felt in a larger room so you may want to add a mini soundbar to beef that up, otherwise we struggled to find any other drawbacks.
