What we think of the design:
A typical modern TV design, one that you’ll see over and over, but we still love the narrow bezel around the TV leaving far more visible screen to thoroughly enjoy. Rather than a stand there are 2 narrow unobtrusive feet that can be removed if you wanted to wall mount this TV. HDMI, VGA and audio ports are easily accessible, as you would expect.
What’s good about it?
On paper it’s only HD ready but the image of screen looks so close to Full HD, without it being next to a Full HD TV, you’d struggle to tell the difference, especially on the terrestrial HD channels. The stand out for this JVC TV is the SMART features. Freeview Play gives you access to BBC iPlayer, itv Hub, 4 On Demand and My 5. There is also a button on the remove for Netflix, which to be honest is standard on most SMART TVs now, the big positive is a button for Prime Video. We know how popular those streaming services have become, especially over the past couple of years, and having that choice built-in to the TV is a great. In a world where most of us have a smart speaker in their home, this JVC TV is compatible with Amazon Alexa smart speakers.

On paper it’s HD Ready but in reality the picture quality is exceptional. It looks so close to
Probably what you would expect from a 32” HD Ready TV and in all honestly there isn’t too much between this and a Full HD comparable set. You’ll get good colour reproduction and a range of picture options to select from.
Are there any drawbacks?
Not many, especially with the extra SMART features, and Amazon Alexa compatibility but it could do with an extra HDMI port or two.
