Remove the stick part of the Polti SR110 and it becomes a really handy, for want of a better word, handheld cleaner so sofas, stairs, other small surfaces and even the car.
What’s good about it?
Cordless vacuums are generally lightweight and compact to a degree, which the Polti thankfully is. Imagine the disappointing finding a really heavy and bulky cordless vacuum in the box. The Polti is nimble and maneuverable and light enough for one handed use. It has a decent run time from fully charged so you can get round the average family home and probably have enough juice in the battery to remove the stick part and clean up the mess the kids or the dog have left in the car. The HEPA filter, which can be removed and washed, designed to filter and stop any allergens escaping from the bin. At the business end the Polti has a motorised brush and LED lights. Vacuuming in the dark isn’t a very popular sport but the LED lights does help spot dirt hiding up the sofa and the motorised brush gives better cleaning performance.
Are there any drawbacks?
There are a few that are part and parcel of using a cordless vacuum cleaner. The 0.5l bin is much smaller than most bagged upright and cylinder vacuums so it will need to be emptied more often.
