Emma Pet - The Essential Robot Vacuum
Our Expert review of the Trifo Emma Pet Robot Vacuum Cleaner
What type of vacuum cleaner is it?
Initially greeted with a plain outer box, open this up and inside is a premium feeling retail box. If Trifo were aiming at the premium end of robot vacuum cleaners then our initial reaction is they have more than hit that mark. Opening the box and you’re greeted with a smart robot vacuum that once set up can hover you’re home without you really having to lift a finger other than to empty the 600ml bin.
What’s good about it?
What could be wrong with a vacuum cleaner that can vacuum all by itself should be the question really shouldn’t it?! Vacuums have come a long way and in many different forms and now with autonomous robot vacuums like the Trifo Emma Pet Essential. In the main you can set up robot vacuums and leave them to do their business. The Emma Pet is intelligent, fast and offers more suction power than other competition. It’s packed with smart sensors that mean it will clean faster and more efficiently and also won’t get stuck under furniture or fall down steps. With suction power of 4000 Pa, the Emma is almighty in this area with 2000 Pa considered very good; pet hair will meet its master.
Are there any drawbacks?
There isn’t really anything to dislike with the Trifo Emma, it has a decent size bin, over half a litre, really good battery life of almost 2 hours and a pet hair extractor unit. Buying the Emma you can set cleaning routes but therein lies the problem. There will always be that awkward area the Emma can’t reach of a step or 2 the Emma can’t go down that will mean not needing to pick up a vacuum yourself.
Should you trade up for the Trifo Emma Pet?
Picking a new vacuum is like picking your way through a minefield. There are so many different routes and options to choose from, especially so with robot vacuums. Our experience with it has only been good so far and it could feasibly replace your upright if you’re looking for someone or something to do the hovering for you.
